WoT Quotes is a small fan site. The short version: there are no accounts, no tracking or analytics, and a single cookie that remembers your spoiler settings.

What we don’t collect

• There are no accounts, sign-ups or logins.
• There is no analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind, and no tracking cookies.

The one cookie

When you set your place in the spoiler guard, the site stores one functional cookie, wq_spoilers. It holds only your spoiler settings: whether books and the TV series are included, and how far you’ve read and watched. Your browser sends it with each request so the pages can hide quotes beyond your place. It lasts one year. Choosing “Show everything” removes it, and you can delete it at any time in your browser settings.

Stored only in your browser

Your light or dark theme choice, and which quotes you’ve liked, are kept in your browser’s local storage. They are never sent to us. When you like a quote, only the quote’s total like count changes on our side; it isn’t linked to you.

Submitting a quote

The submission form doesn’t ask for your name or email. We store the quote you send, along with the source and character you choose, so a moderator can review it before it is published. Not every suggestion is added.

Hosting and security

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes each request, including your IP address, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. On the submission form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person, not a bot, is sending the quote. Your IP address is used briefly to limit how many quotes can be submitted or liked in a minute, and it’s never stored. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for how Cloudflare handles that data.

Other third parties

The site’s fonts are served from this site. No other third parties are involved.
